this first post is designed as an invitation to students in my Course By Appointment classes, especially, the Art Internship to interact. Jessica, let's try this for a place you will post your weekly activities and see how it goes.

Hi I am Jessica, I am a student at St. Thomas Aquinas and this is my blog about my internship with RoCA.

I started Wednesday Jan. 25th with a Ceramics class. I assist the teacher Maria, with students from kindergarden to second grade. It is a beginner clay class where they learn the basic steps and develop their own techniques.
On Wednesday we worked on our clay people. They Learned about torsos, arms and legs. Maria taught them that without their torsos they wouldn't be able to move their arms or legs.
The students made amazing imaginary people and I was so proud of their work!
The next time the class meets the students will have their projects ready to glaze and add on fun features to their imaginary people.
